The Bhagavata Gita is a dialogue between the Krishna and the Arjun(prince) before the start of the  war at Kurukshetra. There were two massive armies gathered for destruction to others. When Arjun(prince) saw most of the warrior standing in opposition, all are friends, cousins, teachers, close relatives. He does not want to fight with them and wants to left the battle, and in this situation, he counseled and wants advice from Krishna about what to do at this moment.

When the prince Arjun counseled Krishna that time prince (Arjun) was asking questions on many topics, and The Krishna gave the best answers to question. The Krishna was providing excellent guidance to the prince that must first perform your duties as a warrior and not give importance to your all personal feeling or desire.
